The Community Bike Shop offers professional bike (both standard and e-bike) repair, tune-ups, and maintenance, as well as a future low-cost DIY (do-it-yourself) option where community members can use our tools and stands and receive hands-on guidance from experienced mechanics. We also have affordable pre-owned bikes for sale.
How it Works
Got a flat? Swing by and utilize our Inflation Station, used and new tubes, patches, and air pumps.
We also provide affordable pre-owned bicycles, used components, and accessories to support safe and sustainable cycling.
You can also call to make an appointment with one of our skilled mechanics.

The Community Bike Shop provides reasonably priced bike repair for all types of bikes. Call ahead to make an appointment, or stop by during our open hours.
Affordable Pre-owned Bikes
The shop has affordable pre-owned bikes for sale that are serviced and in good shape and reasonably priced. Come by to see what we have. We also provide free bikes for youths.
Do-it-Yourself (DIY) Repair
DIY stations are coming soon. Experienced bike mechanics will be on hand to help you learn to repair and service your bicycle yourself. You’ll get assistance repairing your bike.
Support Community Bike Shop
We run on donations and community. We accept used bikes, parts, and bike-related gear. Donations, support, and volunteers keep our doors open, our prices low, and our mission alive in Oak Park.
